Privacy

The sats converter runs entirely offline in your browser. The Schrodinger's Wallet checker is different: it sends the address you enter to a public block explorer (blockstream.info) to look up its transaction history.

Why that one tool is different

Checking whether an address has spent before requires real on-chain data that only a service watching the blockchain can provide. Bitcoin addresses are public information by design, this isn't a private key or seed phrase, but we want to be upfront that this specific tool isn't fully offline the way the rest of the site is.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate visit counting that doesn't set tracking cookies or build an individual profile.
